The surgery went as good as could be expected. It started late, but finished early and our whole family - including Blondie - made it back to the Ronald McDonald House in time for supper.
Blondie could not eat any of this supper, as he was still feeling the effects of the anaesthesia, but made a sleepy appearance to eat some bread and drink some juice.
There will be future steps, but those have yet to be decided and will wait until healing is complete this time around. Our flight home is set for Saturday, and Blondie will need to have a catheter removed next week with his urologist in Winnipeg.
In the meantime, we’ll take it easy and maybe see some sights if Blondie is up to it the next few days. Thank you all once again for all of the prayers and support.
